![]() ![]() QW: I really don’t have anyone particular role model. I have empowered women by encouraging them to believe in themselves, to take intelligent risks, and to move forward without fear. QW: Sisterhood means to me: a circle of women that are bounded by trust, friendship, love, and support. WM: What does “sisterhood” mean to you? In what ways have you empowered other women? She was the first African American women to led the Georgia House of Representatives and the first African American women to run on the Democratic ticket for governor in Georgia. She is a strong woman who is consistently making history and is an impeccable example of what black girls can do. QW: One of my favorite interviews would be when I interviewed Stacey Abrams. WM: Tell us about one of your favorite interviews It also has allowed bringing attention to one of my many passions which are cooking… now I am the proud author and curator of my new cookbook “Cooking with Miss Quad Live, Love, Laugh and Eat”. QW: It has allowed me to do things that I’ve always dreamed of, like being a nationally syndicated talk show host (Sister Circle Live), which affords me the opportunity to share my views points with the masses and utilize my life experiences as a teaching tool for all people. Why did you choose to become a Co-Host on Sister Circle T.V.? is truly entertaining, informative, fun and empowering show with a powerful line up of black female host including yourself. I do plan to have a child in the future however it may be in an unconventional way. While there are many treatments I had a myomectomy coupled with a minimally evasive procedure. QW: My fibroids removal surgery went well. Do you believe this was the reason you did not get pregnant during your marriage? How did the surgery go, and do you plan to have children in the future? Many African American women who are diagnosed with fibroids have trouble conceiving children. Gregory Lunceford however you recently discovered you have been battling with uterine fibroids. WM: Many scrutinized you for not having children for your ex-husband Dr. QW: Possibly, but that individual would have to be nothing short of amazing… He would have to be a team player with a great personality, tall, handsome, strong, intuitive, considerate, romantic, unselfish, confident yet not afraid to be vulnerable, and well rounded. WM: Are you open to finding love again or even remarrying? Describe your ideal mate. To always put me first and never compromise my personal happiness. QW: I’ve learned that I can’t change a person. After being married for six years and experiencing divorce as a result of infidelity and other issues, what lessons have you learned about marriage? ![]() WM: Marriage is a very sacred union that takes dedication, commitment, and unconditional love to ensure both parties honor the marital vows before God. QW: The emotional impact that it had on me was honestly horrific, it was saddening and heartbreaking to accept the demise of my marriage, not only that but to withstand the public criticism and also receiving judgment from some of my cast members. What’s the emotional impact of having your marriage and divorce play out on Married to Medicine? WM: Reality TV has become a platform for many celebrities to expose their talent, share intimate stories and grow personal brands. QW: A loving, ambitious strong woman that is BOLD, daring, independent and free-spirited’ who seeks the opportunity to see the good in everyone. We asked Quad about her recent divorce, finding love again, the power of sisterhood, and her new cook book entitled “ Cooking with Miss Quad” Live, Laugh, Love and Ea t”. Quad is not only a beautiful savvy entrepreneur but is also an amazing chef who is now commanding culinary boss moves in the kitchen. She is also the leader of the pack (owner) of two thoroughbred posh pups Khole and Kar’rie, the inspiration for her launching of a luxury canine clothing line named “ Picture Perfect Pup“. Her marketing and sales aptitude and knowledge contributed to her future business endeavors, brand partnerships, and philanthropic work.
